Food Safety and Training
FOSTAC (Food
Safety Training and Certification) is a training program of the Food Safety and
Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) initiated to increase awareness among food
business operators regarding food safety and standards. As per the provisions
of the FSSAI Act, all food business operators are required to have trained and
certified personnel within their premises to ensure food safety. This article
provides more information about GMP Food Safety Training and Certification
(FOSTAC).

(Manufacturing) - Food Safety Supervisor
Duration - 8

- All production units except milk and dairy processing units, health
supplements and dietary supplements Required.
Applicable
Types of Business - Milk and dairy processing sectors, all food processing
sectors except health supplements and nutraceuticals.
Level 1
(Manufacturing) - Food Safety Officer
Duration -
04 hours per day

- Recommended for small production units

Dairy Products - Food Safety Officer

12 hours per day
