    "10G GPON " stands for 10G Gigabit Passive Optical Network, an advanced fiber optic communications technology designed to provide higher data rates compared to traditional Passive Optical Network (PON) technologies such as GPON (Gigabit PON). 10G GPON has several main variants, XG PON and XGS PON, which have slightly different speeds, symmetry, and applications. What is XG-PON? XG PON stands for 10 Gigabit Passive Optical Network, and is intended to provide higher transmission speeds and longer transmission distances. Compared to GPON, XG PON supports downstream speeds of up to 10 Gbps (gigabits per second) and upstream speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps, providing users with greater bandwidth support. Each Gigabyte PON network starts with a service node, which is a data center that is part of the provider's network delivery infrastructure. 2. These service nodes are connected to the larger network through a service node interface (SNI), which is a connector that enables the connection. 3. The connection runs from the service node through the SNI to the optical line terminal (OLT). Because the range of a gigabyte PON network is limited to about 12 miles, service providers typically install multiple OLTs at key locations where they provide network access. The OLT acts as a central hub for the network, allowing it to provide network access to multiple users simultaneously. 4.
